Hi. I'm Rob.

I'm originally from Texas, and I studied Painting and Art History at the University of Houston.

Currently, I teach Painting and Art History in a public high school on the west side of Houston. This was not my original plan, but what began as an experiment more than a decade ago has become a very satisfying career. It has put me in touch with some amazing people who allow me to call them my friends.

I'm impossibly idealistic, stubborn, gregarious, curious, generally intuitive, and loyal to a fault. I think there's a natural, symbiotic relationship between freedom and responsibility, and I tend to approach spiritual matters with a high degree of emotional self-control. I've been accused of possessing a photographic memory, I'm wary of fads, and I'm fascinated with any and all things bizarre. I maintain a small – but profoundly close-knit – circle of friends. I married a scintillating blue-eyed beauty, and although we frequently wander off to far away places, we'll always call Texas home.
